Guna, Oct 29 (NationPress) Authorities in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, announced on Wednesday that they have apprehended nine individuals linked to the murder of a farmer.

A police spokesperson informed IANS that they have also recovered a tractor-trolley and a Thar Jeep believed to have been utilized in the crime. "Efforts to locate the remaining four suspects are ongoing, and their arrests are imminent," the official stated.
On the same day, former Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh, accompanied by Raghogarh MLA Jaivardhan Singh, who also holds the position of district Congress president in Guna, visited the family of the deceased and called for the highest form of punishment for those responsible for Dhakad's murder.
Singh criticized Chief Minister Mohan Yadav for his inability to uphold law and order. Residents informed Singh that the family implicated in the murder had instilled fear throughout the community.
The Congress leader urged Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, who represents the Guna Lok Sabha constituency, to visit the village and witness the prevailing state of chaos.
In response to the situation, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated on Tuesday that he had instructed the Guna district police to take decisive measures against the individuals involved in the farmer's murder.
The Madhya Pradesh BJP has already expelled Mahendra Singh Nagar from his position as block in-charge, as confirmed by MP BJP chief Hemant Khandelwal in a statement issued on Tuesday.
