BJP President Nitin Nabin Critiques Nehru-Gandhi Legacy as 'Negative Politics'
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Patna, Feb 25 (NationPress) BJP National President Nitin Nabin has launched a fierce critique of the Congress party, asserting that the Nehru-Gandhi family has a long history of executing "compromised missions" that favor their personal and political ambitions over the country’s welfare. Nabin labeled Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, as the "poster boy of negative politics" and accused the family of decades of undermining India's national interests.
During a press conference in Patna, Nabin stated, "I am unveiling the story of compromises made by the Nehru-Gandhi family, which has consistently placed their interests before the people of this country. There was a time when Jawaharlal Nehru himself remarked, ‘45 crore people of the nation are my liability.'"
He emphasized that such comments from a Prime Minister were a "significant betrayal of the public trust" and raised concerns about the Nehru family's historical interactions with foreign entities. "History reveals how Nehru’s secretariat operated almost transparently for the CIA and other foreign agencies. In 1954, India ceded its rights in Tibet to China without any substantial compensation," Nabin claimed.
Addressing Rajiv Gandhi, Nabin pointed to the alleged exploitation of defense services for personal financial gain. "In the Bofors scandal, efforts were made to hinder the Swedish inquiry to protect a companion. The Bhopal gas tragedy exposed further compromises when Warren Anderson, accountable for the deaths of thousands, was allowed to leave the country on a government aircraft," he said.
Regarding Sonia Gandhi, Nabin accused her of acting as a "super Prime Minister" from 2004 to 2014, effectively managing a parallel government through the National Advisory Council and influencing Cabinet decisions. He alleged that during this time, the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation received funding from the Chinese government and George Soros’ network, raising suspicions about possible "secret agreements" with foreign powers.
Highlighting Rahul Gandhi’s international engagements, Nabin remarked, "Rahul Gandhi has embarked on over 247 foreign trips, yet security agencies were often kept in the dark. He interacted with influential foreign figures, including Ilhan Omar and George Soros, and engaged in political activities aligning with their influence. Even in critical border regions like Ladakh, a foreign national, Shakir Mohamed Nurali Merali, with ties to Chinese and Pakistani agencies, was reportedly present."
Nabin declared that Congress’ "compromised legacy" under Rahul Gandhi’s stewardship represents a danger to India’s youth. "It is vital to mobilize young individuals with a constructive mindset. If they are led astray by the compromising agendas of Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, it becomes a grave concern for all. The public is already aware of their compromised missions and will hold them accountable in the future," he stated.
In conclusion, the BJP leader asserted that while the Congress party may persist in making deals detrimental to national interests, "the people of India will hold them accountable when the time is right, and only then will they grasp the true repercussions of their actions."
