Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Ahmedabad, Feb 21 (NationPress) The President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nitin Nabin, criticized Congress on Saturday, labeling it a center for "urban Naxalism" and accusing the party of disseminating negativity that damages India's reputation.
These comments were made during a sizable booth worker convention in Ahmedabad, hosted by the Gujarat BJP unit, with attendance from Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, State party President Jagdish Vishwakarma, BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santhosh, State BJP General Secretary (Organisation) Ratnakar Pandey, senior party figures, and thousands of dedicated party workers.
While addressing the assembly, Nitin Nabin asserted, "Rahul Gandhi's Congress has transformed into a bastion of 'urban Naxalism', fostering negativity that stains the nation's image."
The BJP leader further stated, "Whereas Congress views the populace as a burden, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sees 140 crore citizens as valuable assets."
Nabin contrasted the two parties' leadership, noting, "Unlike Congress, which lacks a clear strategy and vision, the BJP boasts decisive leadership. Under the BJP and Prime Minister Modi's guidance, the youth of Gujarat are evolving into job creators instead of merely job seekers."
He also criticized Congress, remarking, "Congress no longer embodies the spirit of the freedom movement but has become an 'Italian Congress.'"
In reference to national strength, Nitin Nabin expressed, "When the lotus blooms, the nation grows stronger and communal forces diminish."
He further commented on Rahul Gandhi personally, asserting, "For Rahul Gandhi, politics is just an event or a spectacle."
Nitin Nabin highlighted that the BJP prioritizes long-term development and cultural resurgence over temporary satisfaction.
He called on BJP workers to gear up for the forthcoming state-level local self-government elections, stating, "BJP workers engage in elections not solely to secure booths or wards, but to fortify the entire country."
Gujarat BJP President Jagdish Vishwakarma commended the party workers for their unwavering commitment and sacrifices.
"The selfless dedication, sacrifice, and efforts of BJP workers constitute the party's true capital," he remarked.
Vishwakarma elaborated, "BJP is a party where organization reigns supreme. A dedicated worker can ascend from grassroots to the National Youth Wing Chief, MLA, state Minister, or even National President—all within the BJP framework."
He emphasized the relentless service of BJP workers during crises, stating, "In times of earthquakes, cyclones, or pandemics, BJP workers serve the nation ceaselessly, putting national service above personal convenience."
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel characterized BJP as "the world's largest party driven by ideology, not nepotism," praising its guiding principle: "A party greater than oneself and a nation that transcends the party. The BJP operates not for power, but for national service and commitment."
He underscored the significance of robust booth-level organization, asserting, "Strong booths contribute to a strong nation. Every BJP worker plays a role in delivering government schemes to the last citizen, ensuring public trust."
