Gandhinagar, Feb 21 (NationPress) The national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nitin Nabin, commended the Gujarat division as a model of discipline, commitment, and the core tenet of “Nation first, party next, individual last” during an organizational gathering at the party’s state headquarters in Gandhinagar.
Nabin received a warm welcome from party members at the BJP state office, where floral tributes were paid to the statues of Syama Prasad Mukherjee and Deendayal Upadhyaya.
The meeting featured various dignitaries, including Gujarat BJP president Jagdish Vishwakarma, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, National General Secretary (Organisation) B. L. Santhosh, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, alongside senior leaders and representatives from districts and cities.
In his address, Nabin emphasized, “Gujarat has consistently provided direction to the nation through both innovation and organizational excellence.”
He noted that the party has expanded into a “broad banyan tree” owing to the “efforts, dedication, and sacrifices of senior members.”
Nabin portrayed Gujarat BJP's organizational structure as a benchmark for others across the nation. “The operational style, discipline, and time management of the Gujarat BJP are commendable. The principle of ‘minimum input and maximum output’ has long characterized this organization,” he stated.
Highlighting the significance of grassroots workers, he remarked, “The karyakarta is the essence of the BJP.”
He stressed the political weight of the state, stating, “Every election result in Gujarat conveys a message to the country. Thus, the state must stand with increased strength and determination.”
Nabin acknowledged party members in Kerala and West Bengal, who are operating under challenging conditions to bolster the party while prioritizing public welfare, nationalism, and nation-building, inspired by the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He urged members to avoid complacency. “A karyakarta should never feel content. One must consistently strive for new objectives. The BJP is not just a political party but a family. The party’s image in society is shaped by our words, actions, and conduct,” he stated.
Nabin also called on members to combat misinformation on social media by disseminating accurate details about government welfare initiatives.
Vishwakarma, in his remarks, traced Nabin’s political journey from his initial days as a BJP worker to his organizational roles in Bihar and his tenure as an MLA and minister.
He remarked, “From merely two seats in the Lok Sabha to its current standing, the BJP’s evolution is attributed to the relentless efforts and sacrifices of its members.”
Citing it as “a case study for management students,” he added, “A worker from a humble background can ascend to the highest ranks in the BJP,” referencing PM Modi’s journey.
Chief Minister Patel stated, “The karyakarta is the lifeblood of the BJP. The tireless efforts of millions of workers have fortified the party.”
He concluded, “In the BJP, the party supersedes the post, and ideology surpasses the individual,” urging members to engage with the public in a coordinated manner.
