Key Takeaways
Mumbai, Feb 5 (NationPress) Legendary actor Nana Patekar has proven once again that he is a man of his word. The celebrated performer, eagerly anticipating the release of his upcoming film ‘O’Romeo’, filmed a crucial scene while enduring a severe fever of 102 degrees Fahrenheit.
Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the pivotal scene is a thrilling action sequence filmed on a train set.
Reflecting on the experience, the director shared, “In the midst of shooting this action segment on the train, I discovered that Nana Sir was unwell with a 102-degree fever. We promptly summoned a doctor, who suggested an injection, but advised against shooting.”
He continued, “Yet, true to his character, Nana Sir insisted, ‘No, I refuse to leave. I’m committed to finishing this sequence. I can’t bear the thought that the shoot was halted because of me.’ And for the following four hours, he persevered in filming.”
“His body radiated warmth; we could feel the heat from his forehead. Between takes, he would rest on the train set, and when he stood up to act, it was as if he wasn’t ill at all. This exemplifies the dedication of a remarkable artist,” he added.
‘O’Romeo’ is based on real events and is expected to deliver an engaging cinematic journey filled with intense action, emotion, and captivating performances.
