Similarly, Bihar Minister Madan Sahni expressed that the party will extend a warm welcome to Nishant Kumar as he formally becomes a member of JD(U).
“Today marks a significant occasion as we welcome Nishant Kumar into our ranks, where he will also assume a leadership position,” Sahni commented.
In addition, Pappu Yadav remarked on the development, suggesting that Nishant's involvement could foster unity within the party.
“Nishant Kumar's entry into politics will help keep the JD(U) cohesive and uphold Nitish Kumar’s legacy,” he noted.
Nishant Kumar is expected to officially join the JD(U) at 1 p.m. at the party office in Patna, where he will be joined by senior figures, including JD(U) National Working President Sanjay Kumar Jha.
Leading up to the event, welcoming posters for Nishant Kumar have been displayed throughout the city, and security measures have been heightened at the party headquarters to accommodate the anticipated influx of supporters and party members.
This announcement comes shortly after Sanjay Kumar Jha publicly confirmed Nishant Kumar's impending membership in the party. On the preceding Saturday, Nishant engaged in at least two meetings with senior JD(U) officials and legislators in Patna, indicating his increasing participation in the party’s organizational efforts.
During one of these meetings, Nishant interacted with JD(U) MLAs, district leaders, and senior officials, including Union Minister Rajeev Ranjan Singh. Jha introduced him to the attendees, where Nishant, clad in a white kurta-pyjama, greeted guests and conversed with various leaders.
