In an interview with IANS, Shrawan Kumar revealed that the decision for Nishant Kumar's entry into active politics has been made. "The formal declaration of Nishant Kumar's active political involvement will be made by the JD(U) soon. He is expected to receive a significant responsibility within the party," he stated.

Youth should engage actively and positively in politics to strengthen democracy," he remarked.
LJP MLA Raju Tiwari commented, "This is a matter pertaining to their party. However, if he assumes responsibility, it would be a joyous occasion. He is youthful, energetic, and his father has a commendable history of service to Bihar. Thus, if he steps forward, it would be beneficial. As a party, we would gladly welcome him."
