This four-day grand event, themed “Innovate to Transform,” will continue until October 11 and aims to highlight India’s rising prominence in the global digital and telecom landscape.
Union Minister for Communications Jyotiraditya M. Scindia visited the IMC 2025 venue to assess the final arrangements ahead of the Prime Minister’s opening.

During his visit, the minister explored the exhibition space, engaged with participating startups and exhibitors, and led review meetings with senior officials from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), and other collaborating agencies.
In a media briefing, Scindia expressed that IMC 2025 would signify a new chapter in global connectivity, where technologies like 5G, 6G, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), the Internet of Things (IoT), and satellite communications converge to define the future.
He stressed that the event embodies Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a self-sufficient and innovative India that connects both domestically and internationally.
IMC 2025 is projected to draw over 150,000 visitors, with 7,000 delegates from more than 150 countries, and 400 exhibitors across an expansive 450,000 square feet.

Highlighting the event’s magnitude, Scindia mentioned that IMC has evolved from a national stage to a global technology congress representing India’s digital leadership.
He added that the 2025 edition will host six major global summits focusing on 6G research, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, satellite communications, startups, and the Global Startup World Cup - India Edition.
