New Delhi, Oct 8 (NationPress) Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially open the 9th edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, recognized as Asia’s largest event in telecom, media, and technology. The inauguration is set for around 9:45 a.m. at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in Dwarka, Delhi.
This grand event, organized in collaboration with the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), will span four days from October 8 to 11, themed ‘Innovate to Transform.’
This theme emphasizes India's pivotal role in fostering digital transformation and utilizing innovation for both societal and economic growth.
IMC 2025 will gather global leaders, policymakers, industry experts, and innovators to highlight the latest developments in telecom and emerging technologies.
Key topics will include 6G, quantum communications, semiconductors, optical networks, and cyber fraud prevention, underlining India’s ambition to enhance its stature in next-generation connectivity and digital security.
More than 400 companies, approximately 7,000 global delegates, and over 150,000 visitors from more than 150 countries are anticipated to attend this year’s edition.
The event is set to showcase over 1,600 new technology use-cases in areas like 5G, 6G, artificial intelligence, smart mobility, cybersecurity, quantum computing, and green technology.
