Jaipur, Nov 18 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to unveil the 21st instalment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on November 19, coinciding with the celebration of PM-Kisan Utsav Diwas.
During this event, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will attend a state-level ceremony at the State Agricultural Management Institute in Durgapura, with similar programs taking place in all districts.
Since the inception of the scheme, a total of 20 instalments have been distributed, providing support to farmers across Rajasthan.
To date, Rs 25,142 crore has been directly transferred to the bank accounts of farmers in the state under the program.
Moreover, the Chief Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has seen the Rajasthan government transfer Rs 2,073 crore through four instalments aimed at assisting farmers.
On Wednesday, Rs 1,332 crore will be allocated to 66.62 lakh farmers in Rajasthan under PM-Kisan.
The announcement was made via the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana's official X handle, stating, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 21st instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on November 19, celebrated as PM-Kisan Utsav Diwas."
At the national level, a total of Rs 18,000 crore will be disbursed to 9 crore farmers nationwide.
It is important to note that under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, eligible farmers receive Rs 6,000 annually, distributed in three equal instalments.
In addition, the Rajasthan government offers the Chief Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, providing an extra Rs 3,000 per year to all eligible PM-Kisan beneficiaries in the state.
This Central Sector Scheme, which was launched on February 24, 2019, delivers annual financial support of Rs 6,000 to each eligible farmer family, making it one of the largest Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) initiatives globally, demonstrating its significant role in delivering financial assistance directly to beneficiaries.
With a focus on inclusivity, over 25% of the benefits are allocated to female beneficiaries.
