Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 23 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kerala's capital on Friday, lasting less than four hours, was a well-orchestrated blend of governance, political maneuvering, and community engagement. The visit featured two significant interactions that he later amplified on social media, reflecting the broader political implications of the trip.

After launching a series of Central initiatives and addressing a large audience of BJP supporters, the Prime Minister held distinct meetings with members of the fishing community and a key political partner, showcasing the BJP-led NDA’s commitment to both social outreach and the expansion of alliances in Kerala.

During his interaction with a delegation from the Akhila Kerala Dheevara Sabha, an organization representing fishermen, PM Modi expressed:

“It was a pleasure to engage with members of the Akhila Kerala Dheevara Sabha. We exchanged views on various issues impacting Kerala’s development. This organization has been instrumental in promoting the welfare of fishermen. Over the past decade, the NDA Government has dedicated significant efforts towards supporting fishermen, emphasizing better market access and technology. We will continue this work with renewed enthusiasm in the future.”

In another notable discussion, PM Modi met industrialist Sabu M. Jacob, whose political group, Twenty20, officially joined the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance in Kerala just a day prior.

Sharing insights from the meeting, the Prime Minister remarked: “I had a productive meeting with Shri Sabu M. Jacob Ji in Thiruvananthapuram. I extend a warm welcome to Twenty20 into the NDA family. This collaboration signifies our shared dedication to transparent and people-centric governance.”

The meeting with Sabu Jacob was widely interpreted as a validation of the newly formed alliance and a clear indication of the NDA’s strategy to expand its political influence in Kerala by incorporating regional and issue-oriented platforms.

PM Modi also engaged with Swamis linked to the Sree Narayana Dharma Sanghom Trust, Sivagiri Mutt, Varkala.
