Bengaluru, Aug 10 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a 19.15-kilometre journey starting from R.V. Road (Ragigudda) Metro Station to Bommanahalli Metro Station on Sunday, following the inauguration of the Yellow Line Metro services.
During the trip, he engaged in a lively conversation with girl students, women, and Metro workers. Eight children, 16 girl students from local government schools, and eight workers involved in the Yellow Line project had the privilege of traveling alongside Prime Minister Modi.
Post-interaction, Prime Minister Modi shared a seat with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, and various other dignitaries on the Metro. Both CM Siddaramaiah and Dy CM Shivakumar, sitting beside the Prime Minister, maintained an engaging dialogue during the ride, often sharing moments of laughter.
At the R.V. Road (Ragigudda) Metro Station, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Yellow Line Metro services, which link Bengaluru's Central District to the tech-centric hub of Electronics City. He even purchased a ticket by scanning a QR code at the Metro station before stepping onto the platform.
