Bengaluru, Aug 7 (NationPress) The Karnataka BJP president, B.Y. Vijayendra, announced on Thursday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially launch the Yellow Metro Line in Bengaluru this Sunday, which will benefit approximately 800,000 residents.
During a press briefing at the BJP state headquarters, Vijayendra revealed that the Prime Minister is set to arrive in Bengaluru on Sunday morning. Following his arrival, he will head to the Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station to inaugurate the Vande Bharat train service connecting Bengaluru and Belagavi.
After the ceremony at the railway station, Prime Minister Modi will travel to Ragigudda via South End Circle. An event is also planned at the Electronic City Metro Station, as stated by Vijayendra.
Vijayendra mentioned, 'The citizens of Bengaluru are looking forward to the Prime Minister's visit. Our BJP members are excitedly prepared to welcome him.'
He encouraged the residents of Bengaluru to come together to ensure the success of this event.
Furthermore, he pointed out that the construction of the metro had progressed significantly during the earlier BJP administrations led by Chief Ministers B.S. Yediyurappa and Basavaraj Bommai. 'A festive spirit has taken over Bengaluru,' he emphasized.
Vijayendra highlighted that numerous BJP volunteers will gather to greet Prime Minister Modi at various locations such as Mekhri Circle, Chalukya Circle, Sangolli Rayanna Circle, South End Circle, Ragigudda, Electronic City Metro Station, and all stations along the Yellow Metro Line.
Also present at the press conference were BJP Yuva Morcha national president and Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya, along with MLAs S.R. Vishwanath, C.K. Ramamurthy, and S. Muniraju.
