New Delhi, Sep 16 (NationPress) Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, emphasizing the consistent dedication to public welfare that characterizes each of his policy initiatives.
In a post shared on the social media platform X with the hashtag #MyModiStory, Mandaviya provided personal reflections on the Prime Minister’s leadership, especially his visionary stance on infrastructure development.
"In every meeting, PM Modi offers insights that are not only practical but also showcase his visionary thinking," Mandaviya stated in a video.
Reflecting on his experience as Minister of State for Road Transport, Mandaviya recounted a memorable exchange. He mentioned, "During discussions regarding national highways, Modi ji made a striking remark: 'roads and highways are not merely transportation routes; they serve as the lifeline for prosperity.'"
Diving deeper into PM Modi's principles, Mandaviya noted: "He illustrated his point with a straightforward yet powerful example: 'A farmer cultivates crops in his field. If a road is nearby, he can swiftly transport his harvest to market. However, if the road is distant, especially for perishable items, delays can devastate his yield.'"
Mandaviya further quoted PM Modi, underscoring the tangible impacts of infrastructure: "Modi ji emphasized that 'If a road reaches a farmer's village, he can conveniently transport vegetables from the field to the village road and then to the district market via the highway. Conversely, if there’s no road within 5 km of the village, the farmer will encounter significant challenges. Delayed access to the market means he won't receive a fair price and will incur substantial losses.'"
Mandaviya concluded, "The essence of public welfare evident in every one of his policies is PM Modi's most defining trait."
Born as Narendra Damodardas Modi in Mehsana, Gujarat, he served as the Chief Minister of the state for three consecutive terms from 2001 to 2014 and is currently in his third term as Prime Minister.
The BJP and its supporters celebrate his birthday, September 17, as 'Sewa Diwas', initiating various welfare endeavors.
This year, the party plans to kick off a two-week 'Sewa Pakhwada' from September 17 to October 2, culminating on the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.
Activities will encompass blood donation camps, cleanliness initiatives, health check-ups, sports events, and the 'Namo Yuva Run' in 75 cities, with participation exceeding 10,000 individuals in each.
