Bengaluru, Sep 17 (NationPress) The characteristics, leadership, and vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi serve not only as a source of inspiration for Indians but also stand as a model for the global community, stated BJP Central Parliamentary Board member and former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa.
During a service-focused fortnight campaign celebrating PM Modi's birthday, Yediyurappa honored 75 municipal workers at his residence in Dhavalagiri, Bengaluru.
He expressed that the Prime Minister's birthday is being marked by engaging in service activities.
The former CM noted that throughout the nation, millions of party workers and supporters are actively participating in significant service initiatives. "Modiji refers to himself as a pradhan sevak (prime servant). He has demonstrated that power is not merely a status symbol but a tool for serving the populace," he remarked.
Former Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda mentioned that under PM Modi’s guidance, India has evolved into one of the leading nations globally within just 10-12 years. He emphasized that the world now turns to India for solutions on various issues. Gowda urged party workers and leaders to disseminate PM Modi’s messages to every household, stressing the importance of unity in nation-building.
Other prominent leaders present at the event included Former Minister Katta Subramanya Naidu, Bengaluru North District President S. Harish, former State Secretary Jagadish Hiremani, and Media Division Joint Director Prashanth Kerenji.
In Jayanagar Assembly Constituency, an exhibition showcasing PM Modi’s life was inaugurated by Leader of Opposition R. Ashoka and former Deputy Chief Minister and BJP MP Govind Karajol.
A blood donation camp was also launched in Jayanagar Constituency by Legislative Council Opposition Chief Whip N. Ravikumar, where approximately 75 bottles of blood were collected. Notable attendees included BJP Bengaluru South District President and MLA C.K. Ramamurthy and BJP State Media Director Karunakar Khasale.
BJP State President and MLA B.Y. Vijayendra highlighted that service-oriented programs are being conducted nationwide. He inaugurated the Service Week and Blood Donation Camp at the Kalaburagi Rural District Office and addressed the attendees.
Vijayendra expressed his hope that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dedicated service, which promotes awareness of the noble act of blood donation—saving invaluable lives—and strives for a developed India, continues without interruption.
Later, during the "75@Employment Festival," Vijayendra remarked that PM Modi is steadily advancing towards the crucial goal of generating employment opportunities across the nation. He has initiated various schemes aimed at encouraging youth to become job creators. Vijayendra urged the youth to seize these opportunities and contribute to the nation’s progress.
He extended his best wishes for the success of the employment fair, which aims to provide jobs for unemployed youth from the Kalyana Karnataka region while creating additional opportunities.
