Dhar, Sep 17 (NationPress) During the celebration of Vishwakarma Jayanti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an emotional appeal to the women of India—mothers and sisters from every region—to engage in complimentary health screenings taking place at camps across the nation.

Speaking to a vast audience in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, on Wednesday, PM Modi stressed the significance of women’s health, asserting, “Your health is invaluable, and the government will cover all costs.”

This countrywide initiative will continue until Vijayadashami on October 2, promoting the belief that a healthy woman is the cornerstone of a resilient family and a robust nation.

At the event, the Prime Minister also inaugurated the eighth edition of the nation’s nutrition month, underscoring the government’s dedication to decreasing maternal and infant mortality rates.

He revealed that over 6.5 crore pregnant women have reaped the benefits of this program, with Rs 19,000 crore directly deposited into their accounts.

On that specific day, more than Rs 450 crore was credited through a single transaction to over 15 lakh women, marking a significant stride in maternal health.

In an effort to address genetic disorders within tribal populations, PM Modi introduced the Aradhna Kanlmi Sickle Cell genetic counselling card. He also paid tribute to Bagdevi of Dhar Bhojshala and Lord Vishwakarma, invoking cultural respect and unity among citizens.

Looking forward, the Prime Minister called upon India’s 140 crore citizens to unite in the quest for a developed nation.

He pinpointed four essential pillars for this journey: women power, youth power, the impoverished, and farmers.

The event in Dhar aimed at empowering these demographics, with a strong emphasis on women’s health and tribal inclusion.

PM Modi also reaffirmed India’s commitment to national security.

Reflecting on Operation Sindoor, he recounted how Indian forces dismantled terrorist camps and forced Pakistan into submission “in the blink of an eye.” He cited a recent admission by a Pakistani terrorist as further proof of India’s might.

“This is the new India,” he proclaimed, “we do not yield to nuclear threats—our response is to strike at the core of the enemy.”

He also referenced the legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and the Indian Army’s role in liberating Hyderabad.

He expressed regret over the past neglect of such valor and declared that September 17, which was once marked by tragedy, is now proudly commemorated as Hyderabad Liberation Day.

To enhance employment opportunities and support farmers, the Prime Minister inaugurated India’s largest integrated textile park under the PM Mitra scheme. He also launched the Madhya Pradesh edition of Adi Seva Parv, designed to connect tribal communities with essential government initiatives.
