Among the individuals who spoke with the Prime Minister was Shobha Devi, who recounted how the Ayushman Card enabled her to obtain essential medical care. As a patient with a heart condition, she mentioned that the costs for her treatment had become burdensome before she received support through the scheme.
In an interview with IANS, she said, “PM Modi personally presented the card to us and engaged with us. We are extremely grateful to him,” recalling her meeting with the Prime Minister. She noted that the Ayushman Card offered considerable financial relief, allowing her to pursue treatment without the stress of escalating medical expenses.
Another participant at the rally commended the Prime Minister's efforts for the populace, particularly for women. “PM Modi has generously provided for the people, and he has done even more for women,” the individual remarked.
Echoing a similar sentiment, another attendee shared how the health scheme benefited their family during a health crisis. “My mother's treatment was covered by the Ayushman Card. The hospital charges were around Rs 1,09,000, and it was entirely free for us,” they explained.
