Ahmedabad, April 13 (NationPress) President Droupadi Murmu touched down in Ahmedabad on Monday evening as part of her official two-day visit to Gujarat.

Earlier on the same day at AIIMS Rajkot, President Murmu addressed the graduation ceremony, presenting degrees and medals to students and marking a pivotal moment for the newly established medical college.
During her time in Gujarat, the President is set to participate in a variety of official events.
On April 14, she will attend the 'Samajik Samrasta Mahotsava' at Lok Bhavan in Gandhinagar, commemorating the birth anniversary of B.R. Ambedkar.
This event is anticipated to unite representatives from different social and administrative sectors.
Additionally, on the same day, President Murmu will preside over the fifth convocation ceremony of Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) in Gandhinagar, where students across various disciplines will receive their degrees as per the official schedule.
Security measures have been intensified throughout Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar due to the President's itinerary, with senior police and administrative officials assigned to ensure seamless coordination and execution of all planned activities.
