Mumbai, Oct 13 (NationPress) Priyanshu Painyuli, who gained recognition for his role as Robin in the series “Mirzapur”, attributes his success to the show that transformed him into a well-known figure. Although he is not included in the film adaptation, he expressed his unwavering support for the franchise.
Reflecting on his experience with “Mirzapur”, Priyanshu shared with IANS: “Mirzapur will forever be significant to me, as Robin provided me with an identity that resonated with audiences nationwide.”
He further commented: “The affection and recognition for the character, even after years, is truly humbling. I may not be part of Mirzapur: The Movie, but I will always cheer for the universe that has showered me with such affection. Perhaps, Robin’s journey still has some chapters yet to be written.”
The gripping crime-thriller series “Mirzapur” revolves around Akhandanand “Kaleen” Tripathi, the crime lord and businessman who reigns over the Mirzapur district located in the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh, India.
The inaugural season boasts a cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, Vikrant Massey, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Rasika Dugal, Harshita Gaur, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda.
