Raigad (Maharashtra), March 2 (NationPress) A family in Maharashtra’s Raigad district is increasingly anxious about the well-being of their son, Utkarsh Mapara, who is currently residing in Dubai amidst escalating tensions in the Middle East. They have reached out for help to ensure his ongoing safety.

Utkarsh, hailing from Sudhagarh taluka in Raigad, arrived in Dubai on February 18 to embark on a six-month Global MBA program.

His father, Rajesh Mapara, has confirmed that Utkarsh is safe and maintains regular communication with the family.

Regarding the situation, Rajesh stated that while the current unrest in the region is a source of worry, his son is staying in a private room and is in good health.

"We are consistently in touch with him. He is secure, but as parents, our concern is natural," he expressed.

The rising tensions in the Middle East have amplified fears among parents with children studying abroad. Utkarsh’s parents mentioned they are vigilantly tracking the developments and taking all necessary precautions while staying connected with him.

The military actions by the US and Israel against Iran have prompted the latter to retaliate against US bases in neighboring countries, including the UAE and other Gulf nations.

Earlier today, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates and Jordan summoned Iranian diplomats to express strong protests against recent attacks targeting their nations, denouncing them as blatant infringements of sovereignty and international law.

In Amman, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called in the Charge d'Affaires of the Iranian Embassy to convey a stern message of protest to his government.

Similarly, in Abu Dhabi, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Iranian Ambassador Reza Ameri to present a firmly worded note of protest regarding the assaults.

The coordinated diplomatic actions from both Jordan and the UAE signify a growing regional concern about Iran’s military maneuvers and their potential repercussions on civilian safety and stability in the region.
