Rajasthan CM Directs Quick Resolution of Land Allotment Issues by Year-End

Jaipur, Dec 21 (NationPress) Rajasthan's Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has urged officials to accelerate the resolution of outstanding land allotment matters related to budget proposals. He has directed the completion of the land identification process, submission of proposals to the relevant departments, and final land allotments by December 31, 2024.

Sharma stressed that any negligence at any stage of this process will be unacceptable.

In a comprehensive review meeting with district collectors, conducted via video conference from the Chief Minister's residence on Saturday, Sharma concentrated on expediting land allotment cases for significant development projects, including the Sports College, Roadways Bus Stand, GSS, Processing Plant, Material Recovery Facility for Solid Waste Management, and Industrial Parks. He also assessed the land allotment for Block Offices and New Assistant Engineer Offices under the Public Health Engineering Department’s Social Justice and Empowerment initiatives.

Sharma further indicated that the Hi-Tech City project in Jaipur, part of the state government's vision, must be developed in accordance with the budget announcement. A collaborative team, consisting of officials from the Industries Department, Revenue Department, and District Administration, should be established to ensure the project’s success.

Key infrastructure needs, such as road connectivity and water and electricity supply, should receive special attention.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the significance of converting the MoUs signed during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit into practical outcomes.

He instructed District Collectors to work with relevant departments to facilitate the implementation of these agreements, ensuring all possible support is provided to investors.

To minimize vehicle accidents, Sharma emphasized the necessity to identify accident-prone areas and improve them promptly.

Special initiatives will be launched to tackle these "black spots" in every district. He also directed adherence to established standards for road construction and repairs.

The Transport Department's flying squads are mandated to intensify actions against unfit vehicles, overloaded vehicles, and those lacking proper permits. Additionally, awareness campaigns focusing on traffic rules and road safety will be carried out to encourage safer driving practices. He added that the transport department's flying squads should take stringent measures against traffic violations.

Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant, Additional Chief Secretary for Forest and Environment Arpana Arora, Additional Chief Secretary (Chief Minister’s Office) Shikhar Aggarwal, Additional Chief Secretary for Social Justice and Empowerment Kuldeep Ranka, Principal Secretary (Chief Minister’s Office) Alok Gupta, along with other Principal Secretaries and Secretaries from various departments, were present during the meeting.
