Jaipur, June 27 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajan Lal Sharma, highlighted the state government's dedication to turning Rajasthan into a $350 billion economy through ongoing reforms and the implementation of advanced technologies in critical sectors such as agriculture, infrastructure, education, and industry.
During a meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence focusing on agricultural innovations, multi-modal logistics, and employment training, CM Sharma asserted that the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in agriculture would greatly improve productivity on farms.
He noted that cutting-edge skill training would empower the youth, while an investment-friendly environment would transform the industrial framework of Rajasthan.
The Chief Minister pointed out that the Centre of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture, as outlined in the state budget, will be pivotal in addressing sector-specific challenges through innovative technology.
He urged officials to enhance skill training in agriculture, ensuring qualitative advancements in farming and job creation for the youth.
Sharma mentioned that Rajasthan presents extensive opportunities for investors, bolstered by proactive government initiatives such as the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, new industry-friendly policies, and efficient implementation of a Single Window Clearance System.
In line with this vision, the Rajasthan Logistics Policy 2025 has been launched to lower logistics expenses and enhance industrial connectivity.
He added that the budget for 2025-26 includes plans for developing logistics parks connected to the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), which will significantly enhance Rajasthan’s logistics capabilities.
Sharma reaffirmed his government's pledge to prepare the youth to be “future-ready and industry-ready” through top-notch skill training. He instructed officials to undertake all necessary actions to improve the quality and accessibility of vocational training.
Presentations were made during the meeting on the proposed AI-based Centre of Excellence in Agriculture, Polytechnic Skill Development Centers, and the establishment of Multi-Modal Logistics Parks.
