Ram Gopal Yadav: Rahul Gandhi Not Leading the INDIA Bloc Amidst Mamata Banerjee's Aspirations

Mainpuri (Uttar Pradesh), Dec 7 (NationPress) The comments made by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee regarding her wish to lead the INDIA bloc have initiated a significant political discourse, eliciting various responses. Senior Samajwadi Party figure Ram Gopal Yadav articulated his perspective, asserting that Rahul Gandhi is not the leader of the INDIA bloc. He pointed out that the Congress party's inadequate results in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections may have prompted the Trinamool Congress chief to express her ambitions.

"In Himachal Pradesh, where the Congress holds power, they failed to secure any of the four available seats. Moreover, in both Karnataka and Telangana, which are also under Congress governance, they lost half of their Lok Sabha seats. Additionally, Congress could not win a single seat in Madhya Pradesh and faced significant losses in Chhattisgarh. Had Congress performed better in the Lok Sabha elections, Narendra Modi would not have assumed the Prime Ministership today," Yadav remarked.

He further stated, "This is why discussions about a change in leadership are taking place. However, I prefer to refrain from participating in this debate. The INDIA alliance needs to remain united, as without this coalition, these trickster individuals cannot be overcome," Yadav conveyed to reporters.

During a press conference in his hometown of Mainpuri, he remarked: "Concerns about the electoral outcomes in Maharashtra began to surface when there were claims that votes were cast for Congress, yet their votes didn’t appear. This situation indicates potential irregularities. Even Donald Trump mentioned that Russia interfered with the US presidential election using technology; hence, in today’s tech-savvy world, such alterations are not far-fetched. We utilize disappearing messages on our phones that disappear in moments. Adjustments like these can be easily executed using technology."

The Samajwadi Party leader expressed that "elections must be contested, whether they are by-polls or general elections. We are prepared and will fully exercise our democratic rights."

On the topic of the Sambhal violence, he stated: "The BJP is searching temples nationwide. The BJP's goal is to instigate unrest in the country to maintain their grip on power. They show no concern for the nation."
