Jabalpur, Oct 30 (NationPress) As the centenary year of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) approaches, the organization’s leadership has convened in Jabalpur for a three-day 'Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal Baithak'. This gathering emphasizes Panch Parivartan (five-pillar transformation) as a crucial foundation for planning the 'Shatabdi Varsh' (centenary) initiatives.
The meeting commenced on October 30 in Kachnar City and aims to outline a roadmap for a year of outreach efforts while reflecting on the ideological guidance presented in the Sarsanghchalak's recent Vijaya Dashami address.
The formal kick-off for the centenary year was marked during the Vijaya Dashami celebrations this year, featuring significant events throughout the nation, notably in Nagpur.
Discussions will span three days, focusing on five pivotal areas known as Panch Parivartan: social harmony, family values, environmental awareness, civic discipline, and a self-sufficient Indian lifestyle.
According to a source, "This calls for individuals to adopt positive changes in their personal conduct and community involvement to forge a resilient and self-reliant nation."
The agenda now shifts toward implementation, with programs such as Griha Sampark Abhiyan, Hindu Sammelans, Sadbhav Baithaks, and Pramukh Jan Sangoshthis planned, alongside evaluations of the recent Vijayadashami celebrations and the current national landscape.
The event was officiated by Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, who paid homage to Bharat Mata.
Attendance includes 407 delegates from all 11 Kshetras and 46 Prants, featuring Prant-level Sanghchalaks, Karyawahs, and Pracharaks.
Also present are six Sah-Sarkaryavahs - Dr Krishna Gopal, Mukunda, Arun Kumar, Ramdatt Chakradhar, Alok Kumar, and Atul Limaye - along with members of the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini and specially invited karyakartas. A significant portion of the discussions is anticipated to revolve around the themes outlined in the Sarsanghchalak's annual address - social harmony, family awareness (Kutumb Prabodhan), environmental responsibility, and civic duty.
These themes are set to influence the Sangh's activities over the next year, particularly as it gears up to celebrate a century of its establishment.
The opening session also paid tribute to several prominent figures who recently passed away, including former Chief of Rashtra Sevika Samiti Pramila Tai Medhe, senior Pracharak Madhu Bhai Kulkarni, former Chief Ministers Vijay Rupani (Gujarat) and Shibu Soren (Jharkhand), senior Delhi leader Vijay Malhotra, eminent scientist Kasturirangan, former Governor L. Ganesan, lyricist Piyush Pandey, film actors Satish Shah and Pankaj Dheer, comedian Asrani, and celebrated Assamese musician Zubeen Garg.
Tributes were also paid to the Hindu pilgrims who lost their lives in the Pahalgam incident, victims of the Air India tragedy, and individuals who perished in natural disasters across Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Punjab, and other regions.
Updates on relief initiatives undertaken by Swayamsevaks were shared, reaffirming the Sangh's dedication to service and community engagement.
