Mumbai, April 11 (NationPress) Actress and fitness aficionado Saiyami Kher expressed that portraying characters that are either vastly different from her or closely aligned with her personality presents its own distinct challenges.
When asked whether it’s more difficult to embody a character that is entirely different from her or one that mirrors her, Saiyami responded to IANS: “Both scenarios come with their unique challenges. Playing someone like myself demands profound introspection and a level of emotional vulnerability that can be quite intense—there’s no room for evasion.”
“Conversely, stepping into the role of someone entirely dissimilar is equally taxing—it necessitates empathy, creativity, and the readiness to unlearn. Ultimately, both experiences revolve around surrendering your ego and allowing the character to take the lead,” elaborated the actress, known for her Telugu debut in “Rey” and her Hindi debut in “Mirzya”.
If her life were to be depicted in a film, what title would she choose?
The actress, who was last seen in “Agni”, promptly replied: “‘Saiyami Rakho’. Because life truly embodies the essence of having saiyam—patience, perseverance, and maintaining grace under pressure.”
When asked to elaborate, she explained: “I’ve realized that events may not unfold according to your schedule, but with persistence and faith, they eventually come together. It’s not about hastening to the next milestone, but remaining steadfast throughout the journey.”
Looking ahead, Saiyami is preparing for the release of her forthcoming film “Jaat”, featuring Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda.
Directed by Gopichand Malineni, “Jaat” also stars Vineet Kumar Singh and Regina Cassandra. Actress Urvashi Rautela will appear in a dance number in the film.
With a soundtrack composed by Thaman S. and Rishi Punjabi handling the cinematography, “Jaat” also features editing by Navin Nooli, while Avinash Kolla's production design promises to immerse audiences in the film’s captivating universe.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, the film is set for release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on April 10.
