New Delhi, May 30 (NationPress) BJP MP Sambit Patra on Friday criticized the Congress party for their ongoing inquiries into the supposed damages and downing of Rafale fighter jets by Pakistan during the Operation Sindoor confrontation. He accused the party's senior leadership of aligning with Pakistan's narrative and echoing their statements.
In a press conference this morning, Patra remarked that the Congress party professes to support the nation; however, they have been questioning the bravery of our armed forces since the outset of the operation.
Patra claimed that India successfully eliminated nine terror camps and 11 Pakistani airbases through military actions, with satellite images serving as proof. Yet, Congress seems to disregard the accomplishments of our forces, opting instead to depend on Pakistani propaganda.
“If a Rafale had gone down, there would be physical evidence and wreckage. There is none,” he stated, accusing Congress of instigating doubt.
The BJP spokesman further condemned Rahul Gandhi, Jairam Ramesh, and Revanth Reddy for making inappropriate remarks that could demoralize our armed forces and undermine their morale.
“They have not supported the nation or the armed forces, continuously questioning how many Indian fighter jets were lost to Pakistan, despite the DGMO presenting facts with solid evidence,” Patra emphasized.
He expressed disbelief at Congress in-charge of communications Jairam Ramesh, whom he referred to as the right-hand man of the Gandhi family, for linking the Pahalgam terrorists to Parliamentarians involved in an all-party delegation’s global outreach effort.
Previously, BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya also criticized Telangana CM Revanth Reddy for asking, “how many Rafales were shot down by Pakistan?”
“Instead of supporting our armed forces, Congress leaders appear to be deriving their ‘intelligence’ from WhatsApp forwards, social media conjectures, or worse, their imagination. They resemble more of a PR team for Pakistan than the opposition of India,” he remarked.
Telangana CM joined the Congress criticism against the Centre, demanding during a rally on Thursday for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to clarify how many of our fighter jets were damaged in Pakistani strikes.
