Chennai, November 25 (NationPress) The team behind director Sudha Kongara's highly anticipated historical drama, 'Parasakthi', starring Sivakarthikeyan, has unveiled the lyrical video for the film's second single, 'Ratnamala', to the joy of fans and cinema enthusiasts.

On his X account, Sivakarthikeyan shared links to both the Tamil and Telugu versions of the newly released lyrical video, stating, "#Ratnamala from #Parasakthi is here. #ParasakthiFromJan14".

This melodious, slow-paced romantic track features Sivakarthikeyan alongside Sreeleela, who enchant viewers with surprising moments of energetic dance.

The music for this number is composed by two-time National Award winner G V Prakash Kumar, who also performs it. The Tamil lyrics are penned by JayJayashree Mathimaran, while the Telugu version's lyrics are by Ramajogayya Sastry.

Last week, actress Sreeleela began dubbing her parts for the film.

In a post on its X timeline, production house Dawn Pictures announced, "Her own voice, on the big screen. @sreeleela14 starts dubbing for #Parasakthi - Get set for the grand arrival in theatres on January 14th. #ParasakthiFromPongal #ParasakthiFromJan14." The production team also shared a video of the actress during her dubbing process.

Additionally, a few weeks ago, actor Ravi Mohan, who portrays the antagonist, commenced dubbing for his role.

The production team confirmed on October 21 that filming had concluded. The Pollachi schedule was wrapped up in August.

Insiders reveal that key scenes were filmed during this period, which started on July 18, although Sivakarthikeyan joined the team later.

The first schedule of 'Parasakthi' took place in Madurai, with the second segment shot in Sri Lanka and the third in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu.

'Parasakthi' has generated significant excitement among fans and film enthusiasts alike. This period piece, which also stars Atharvaa, is set in the 1960s in the historical region of Madras.

A teaser released by the team hints at a storyline set in Pachaiyappa’s college in Madras, where Sivakarthikeyan is depicted going door-to-door in search of something. He appears as a bold leader, seeking to rally students for a protest against an oppressive system, symbolized by an order stating, "Students - do not touch", which is altered in the teaser to read, "Do not touch students".

The teaser also suggests that Ravi Mohan's character is determined to eliminate Sivakarthikeyan's character.

'Parasakthi', initially dubbed as #SK25 as it marks Sivakarthikeyan's 25th film, features music by G V Prakash and cinematography by seasoned cameraman Ravi K Chandran. The film's action sequences are crafted by Supreme Sundar. It is set to premiere in theatres on January 14 next year, coinciding with the Pongal festival.
