The victim remained conscious and was able to answer questions post-attack, with her condition reported as stable by TBS, referencing the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.

This incident unfolded approximately 200 meters southwest of JR Takadanobaba Station. The perpetrator, described as a slim man, fled the scene. Authorities continue to search for the suspect and are appealing to the public for any information, as reported by Xinhua News Agency.

Prior to this, on December 26, a separate stabbing incident injured 15 individuals at a factory in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, according to local news.
