Chennai, April 8 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and DMK President, M. K. Stalin, is set to initiate the fourth phase of his Assembly election campaign in Thanjavur this Friday, furthering his efforts to connect with voters in the Delta region.
A significant public rally is planned in Thanjavur at 5 p.m., where Stalin will solicit votes for DMK and its alliance candidates running in critical constituencies, including Thiruvaiyaru, Thanjavur, Orathanadu, Pattukkottai, Peravurani, Papanasam, Thiruvidaimarudur, and Kumbakonam.
After the Thanjavur event, he plans to resume his campaign on April 11 with a public gathering in Pudukkottai at 4 p.m., promoting candidates in Gandharvakottai, Viralimalai, Pudukkottai, Thirumayam, Alangudi, and Aranthangi constituencies. That evening, he will also address a rally in Tiruppattur district at 7 p.m., backing candidates in Karaikudi, Tiruppattur, Sivaganga, and Manamadurai.
On April 12, Stalin will convene a public meeting in Paramakudi at 4 p.m., rallying support for candidates in Paramakudi, Thiruvadanai, Ramanathapuram, and Mudukulathur. He will then take part in an evening rally covering Vilathikulam, Thoothukudi, Tiruchendur, Srivaikuntam, Ottapidaram, and Kovilpatti.
This fourth phase follows an extensive campaign led by Stalin across Tamil Nadu, having originally launched the election campaign on March 31 in his hometown of Tiruvarur. After completing the second phase, he shifted to the third phase in Puducherry earlier this week.
Earlier this week, Stalin addressed a public gathering in Sirkazhi, located in Mayiladuthurai district, to garner support for DMK and its allies. His campaign continued on Wednesday morning in Tiruvannamalai, where he directly engaged with voters.
In light of the busy schedule, DMK leadership has instructed party members to refrain from organizing roadside events. Party cadres have also been advised to skip visits to Stalin's residence, opting instead to go directly to campaign venues to ensure efficient coordination.
