They also appealed for enhanced relief and rehabilitation packages, aligning with the policies of neighboring states for the benefit of reintegrated cadres.
According to DGP Shivadhar Reddy, the former Maoists were given the chance to meet with the Chief Minister at their request. He noted that, in response to the Chief Minister's invitation, a total of 591 Maoists across Telangana have reintegrated into society over the past two years, now leading lives as ordinary citizens.
The DGP elaborated that collaborative efforts from the police department and the government's improved rehabilitation strategies have influenced top leaders, guiding them to reintegrate into society with renewed trust in the democratic process.
Among those who met with the Chief Minister at the State Secretariat were Thippiri Tirupati alias Devuji, a Central Committee Member and Polit Bureau Member, along with other notable leaders such as Malla Raji Reddy alias Sangram, Pothula Kalpana alias Sujatha, Pulluri Prasad Rao alias Chandranna, Bade Chokka Rao alias Damodar, and Nune Narsimha Reddy alias Ganganna.
