In an official statement, TCS mentioned that it acted promptly upon becoming aware of the situation. The employees implicated in the investigation have been suspended, and TCS confirmed it is offering full cooperation to law enforcement agencies.
Further actions will depend on the findings from the ongoing investigation.
To date, at least six employees have been arrested in connection with the case, based on intelligence reports received by the Nashik Police Commissioner’s office.
Additionally, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has remarked on the seriousness of the situation, acknowledging the Nashik police for their swift response.
A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to conduct a thorough investigation. The police are also interrogating a human resources official located in Pune.
The inquiry is still underway, and authorities are anticipated to take further actions based on the SIT's findings.
