In a formal announcement, Chandrasekaran revealed that measures have been initiated against the implicated employees and the company is fully cooperating with the ongoing inquiry.

“The allegations emerging from the Nashik branch of Tata Consultancy Services are profoundly concerning and distressing,” he stated.
“This situation is being approached with the highest level of seriousness. Action has already been initiated against the involved employees, and the company is providing its full cooperation to the ongoing investigations,” he added.
Chandrasekaran mentioned that a thorough investigation is underway to ascertain the facts and identify all individuals responsible.
Aarthi Subramanian, Chief Operating Officer at TCS, will oversee the investigation.
“The Tata Group maintains a zero-tolerance policy against any form of coercion or wrongdoing by its employees,” Chandrasekaran affirmed.
“A comprehensive investigation is currently in process to establish the facts and identify all individuals responsible for this issue,” he reiterated.
Aarthi Subramanian, Chief Operating Officer at TCS, will lead this investigation, as noted by Chandrasekaran.
He assured that appropriate and stringent actions will be implemented against those found guilty and that any essential process improvements or corrective measures will be executed swiftly and enforced rigorously.
This development follows a day after TCS confirmed the suspension of employees under investigation linked to the Nashik case and its cooperation with law enforcement agencies.
The company has faced scrutiny following multiple FIRs filed regarding alleged incidents of sexual harassment and religious conversion at its Nashik unit.
Reports indicate that the controversy began in March when a woman accused a colleague of engaging in a physical relationship with her based on false promises of marriage.
During the investigation, authorities uncovered additional complaints, resulting in several more FIRs related to similar allegations.
Meanwhile, police have arrested at least six employees in connection with this case following information received by the Nashik Police Commissioner’s office.
A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has also been formed to conduct a detailed inquiry, while a human resources official based in Pune is being interrogated.
