Jaipur, July 1 (NationPress) In an alarming turn of events, a woman teacher was brutally murdered in broad daylight on Tuesday, allegedly by her former boyfriend, in Kalinjara town of Rajasthan's Banswara district.
The victim has been identified as Leela Tabiar (36), who lived in Taria Pada, Jolana, and worked as a second-grade Sanskrit teacher at the Government Senior Secondary School, Chhaya Mahudi, in the Sajjangarh block.
The tragic incident transpired while she was en route to school, as she sat near the Kalinjara bus stand, awaiting transportation.
Law enforcement officials reported that the alleged perpetrator, identified as Mahipal Bhagora, exited his vehicle wielding a sword, confronted Tabiar at the bus stand, and fatally stabbed her in the abdomen before escaping.
Witnesses noted that in his haste, Bhagora collided his vehicle into a tree and subsequently fled on foot.
Initial investigations indicate the potential involvement of multiple attackers.
