Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav, on Monday, 15 June demanded a high-level, multi-government investigation into the suspicious death of Prince Yadav, brother of Gyan Bindu Coaching Institute director Raushan Anand. Speaking to reporters at Patna airport, Tejashwi called the incident deeply tragic and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.

The Death in Biratnagar

Prince Yadav's body was recovered from a hotel room in Biratnagar, Nepal, under circumstances that authorities have described as suspicious. Because the death occurred on Nepali soil, Tejashwi argued it must be treated as an international matter requiring coordinated action across multiple governments.

He urged the Bihar government, the Centre, and Nepali authorities to jointly constitute a high-level committee to conduct an impartial inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death — including whether foul play or murder was involved.

Allegations Against Faisal Khan

The case has drawn wider attention amid escalating allegations by Raushan Anand against a person identified as Faisal Khan, whom Anand has accused of conspiracy in connection with both his own imprisonment and his brother's death. Authorities have not publicly confirmed those allegations, and investigations remain ongoing.

Tejashwi also questioned the Bihar government's conduct in handling the matter, alleging that the state administration's response appeared suspicious. He reiterated that a high-level inquiry was essential to ensure transparency and accountability.

Broader Law-and-Order Attack on Bihar Government

Beyond the Nepal death case, Tejashwi launched a wider offensive against the state government over Bihar's law-and-order situation. He alleged that incidents of murder, robbery, and dacoity were rising across the state, citing the recent killing of a showroom manager in Darbhanga as evidence of deteriorating public safety.

He further claimed that unemployment, corruption, and systemic failures in education, healthcare, and irrigation were compounding the state's governance crisis — charges the ruling dispensation has not publicly responded to at the time of reporting.

EVM Controversy in West Bengal

Responding to questions on an alleged EVM-burning incident in West Bengal, Tejashwi said an impartial inquiry should be conducted into that matter as well to establish the facts. He maintained that citizens across the country were closely watching political and governance developments and reiterated his criticism of both the Bihar and Central governments.

With investigations ongoing in Nepal and political pressure mounting in Bihar, the coming days will test whether the governments concerned move toward a formal joint probe or allow the matter to recede without a credible resolution.
