Hyderabad, Sep 21 (NationPress) The Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, declared on Sunday that even prior to the youth of Nepal protesting against nepotism, the youthful voters in Telangana successfully dismantled the 'family rule' of KCR.

His remarks were in reaction to K. T. Rama Rao, the working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), who suggested that a Nepal-like protest could erupt in India.

'The youth in Nepal protested against nepotism, but the youth in Telangana took action first by voting out KCR and his family, rendering the BRS with a significant deficit in the Lok Sabha and terminating their family governance in the state,' Bandi Sanjay shared on 'X'.

'This Nepo kid has received the reality check he required. The youth of India are decisive at the ballot box; they remove governments democratically,' added the Minister of State, who shared a video clip of K. T. Rama Rao's comments during the NDTV Yuva Conclave, where the audience largely expressed disagreement.

KTR, as Rama Rao is commonly known, suggested that if the government does not meet the public's expectations, similar protests to those in Nepal could occur in India.

'If the government continues to overlook the aspirations of the Indian populace, why not? Yes,' he responded when asked about the possibility of such protests in India.

When posed the same question to the predominantly young audience, many responded negatively, to which the former Telangana minister remarked, 'The night is still young, let's see.'

In another statement, Bandi Sanjay congratulated the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) for their victory in the University of Hyderabad (UoH) student union elections.

'The Gen Z of UoH stands with ABVP,' he tweeted, extending his 'heartfelt congratulations to ABVP on a historic victory' at the University of Hyderabad.

'From President to Joint Secretary, every vital position has been clinched. This clean sweep showcases the confidence that Gen Z at UoH has invested in nationalist ideologies. From Punjab to DU to UoH, with each victory, the saffron wave is transforming momentum into a mandate,' stated the BJP leader.

Point of View

It is evident that the youth's engagement in politics is reshaping the landscape in India. This trend indicates a growing demand for accountability and transparency in governance. As younger generations increasingly participate in democratic processes, their voices will play a crucial role in determining the future direction of the nation.
