Noida, March 28 (NationPress) In preparation for the opening of Phase 1 of the Noida International Airport this Saturday, the Noida Traffic Police has released a comprehensive advisory detailing entry routes, diversions, and parking arrangements for vehicles, as confirmed by officials.
This advisory, effective from 7 A.M. onwards, aims to facilitate a seamless flow of traffic during this high-profile occasion, with special accommodations made for emergency vehicles.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the initial phase of the airport located in Jewar around noon.
As per the traffic management plan, the operation of heavy, medium, and light goods vehicles will be restricted on key routes, including the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, Yamuna Expressway, and adjacent roads. However, emergency services will retain access to these corridors.
Vehicles coming from Meerut and Ghaziabad will be rerouted via the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, exiting at Sirsa Toll and navigating through designated roundabouts to reach the venue.
Traffic arriving from Mathura and Aligarh via the Yamuna Expressway will be instructed to exit at Jewar Cut, proceeding through the Sabauta Underpass and Kishorpur Gate.
Similarly, commuters from Hapur, Bulandshahr, and nearby areas will be redirected along the Jewar-Khurja road, entering through Parohi Gate.
Dignitaries and VIPs attending the ceremony are encouraged to access the venue via a dedicated interchange on the Yamuna Expressway, where separate parking arrangements are established. Media representatives have been instructed to enter through Kishorpur Gate.
Police personnel, administrative staff, and government officials on duty will also use Kishorpur Gate, while official buses will be directed through Dayanantpur.
Travelers from Noida and Greater Noida using the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will be redirected through designated roundabouts and service lanes, entering via a temporary gate near the Ranehra Police Post.
Two-wheelers and other light vehicles will gain access through Kishorpur Gate, which will also accommodate vehicles arriving from Jewar town.
The advisory urges the public to adhere strictly to the designated routes and to minimize unnecessary travel in the area surrounding the venue to ensure the smooth execution of the inauguration.
