Hyderabad, May 20 (NationPress) Four individuals lost their lives and 20 others sustained injuries in a tragic road mishap in Vikarabad district, Telangana, on Tuesday, as reported by local authorities.
The incident took place near Rangapuram in the Parigi mandal when a private bus, transporting passengers who were returning from a wedding celebration, collided with a stationary truck.
One victim passed away at the scene, while three others died en route to the hospital. The injured were taken to the government hospital in Parigi, with some later moved to Osmania Hospital in Hyderabad.
Among the injured, six are reported to be in critical condition. The deceased individuals have been identified as Mallesh, Sandeep, Balamani, and Hemalatha.
According to police, the bus was filled with passengers returning from a wedding in Shahbad. The bus driver failed to spot the cement-laden truck, which had halted on the road. The crash occurred around 1:45 a.m.
