New Delhi, Oct 22 (NationPress) The Tribal Business Conclave 2025 is set to take place at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi on November 12, aiming to enhance market access for indigenous products and stimulate finance and investment for tribal communities, as announced in an official statement.
This conclave will also commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, aligning with the Prime Minister’s visions of ‘Janjatiya Gaurav’ and ‘Vocal for Local’.
Organized by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, the event is rooted in the Prime Minister’s vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat by 2047, aiming to empower tribal entrepreneurs across India.
The conclave represents a transformative milestone in India’s growth trajectory, where tribal entrepreneurship is pivotal in the national development narrative.
It is bolstered by the active involvement of key ministries, including MSME, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Textiles, Development of North Eastern Region, Electronics and Information Technology, Food Processing Industries, Agriculture, and Rural Development.
Additionally, collaborations with state governments play a crucial role in nurturing local entrepreneurial ecosystems.
Highlights of the conclave include the “Roots to Rise” pitching sessions, allowing tribal entrepreneurs to present their business ideas to investors, CSR leaders, and government institutions for mentorship, funding, and incubation.
Other activities will include knowledge sessions, masterclasses, and a CEO’s Forum focused on skilling and market access.
An exhibition featuring over 100 tribal startups and micro-enterprises showcasing crafts, agro-products, forest produce, and green technologies will also take place, along with a buyer-seller meet.
