Significantly, the proposed capital expenditure has been raised to over Rs 12 lakh crore, which will enhance infrastructure and fund seven railway corridors. There are also initiatives aimed at advancing the AYUSH sector and improving healthcare services. Special attention has been given to the needs of common citizens and women.
CM Yogi commended the budget for its significant initiatives, such as the construction of girls’ hostels in each district, the formation of STEM institutions, and the provision of world-class infrastructure to nurture the ambitions of the youth.
He remarked that the comprehensive reforms across various sectors, alongside the creation of opportunities for the young population, will simplify life for the average citizen.
Expressing his support for the budgetary allocations, CM Yogi stated, “This budget will significantly aid in propelling India’s economic growth. It creates new opportunities for youth, women, farmers, entrepreneurs, and the general populace. The middle class and ordinary citizens have high hopes for this budget.”
With the upcoming Income Tax Act set to take effect in April, he noted that it will streamline the process, making it easier for everyone to file their tax returns.
“Encouraging more individuals to pay income tax and contribute to nation-building represents an extremely important initiative,” he remarked.
CM Yogi asserted that this budget has been designed with a focus on every segment of society, including youth, women, farmers, and entrepreneurs.
“It positions India as a rapidly growing economy on the path to a Viksit Bharat,” he concluded.
