New Delhi, Feb 11 (NationPress) As the Yogi government gears up to unveil its 10th Budget in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna stated that the budget will prioritize the core principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. He emphasized that the focus will be on women, youth, farmers, and the marginalized segments of society.
In an interview with IANS, Khanna remarked, “This budget aims to consider everyone. The emphasis will be on women, youth, farmers, and underprivileged communities. The Opposition should support this budget, as our intentions are genuine. Over the past nine years, the Yogi government has strived to achieve justice and has worked diligently for the public good.”
“The Yogi administration has consistently aimed to formulate a budget that caters to all sections of society, embodying the principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. This guiding approach has influenced the budget preparation, which is anticipated to boost the state's progress,” he elaborated.
This budget marks the final comprehensive Budget of the BJP-led government’s second term.
With a size of Rs 9.5 lakh crore, it significantly surpasses previous budgets.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, in a conversation with IANS, asserted, “Today, the Yogi government is introducing the largest budget ever. This budget will fortify the infrastructure of Uttar Pradesh. We are committed to completing all pending projects. Expect to see major developments in the near future.”
He added that the budget will concentrate on fundamental needs such as roads, food, and water, while also addressing law and order and the healthcare sector.
“It will benefit the poor and support the ‘Viksit Bharat’ initiative. Uttar Pradesh is poised to become a more favorable environment for entrepreneurs and businesses,” Pathak stated.
UP Minister Jaiveer Singh expressed optimism about the budget, telling IANS, “Since the Yogi government took office, significant changes have occurred in Uttar Pradesh. This budget will be inclusive and beneficial for all, whether they are farmers, workers, or any other group.”
Singh noted the substantial progress Uttar Pradesh has made in recent years.
“Previously, Uttar Pradesh ranked fourth or fifth among developed states; now it stands at the forefront. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, there has been considerable development in the state,” he added.
Earlier today, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath remarked that this budget will set a new direction and provide a clear policy vision aimed at realizing the objectives of 'Aatmanirbhar' and 'Viksit' Uttar Pradesh.
In a post on X, CM Yogi stated, “With the esteemed guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 'New Uttar Pradesh' is continuously progressing towards building a strong, self-sufficient, and prosperous state through good governance, inclusive development, and public welfare.”
“The budget for the financial year 2026-27, presented today in the Uttar Pradesh Legislature, will offer new direction, renewed energy, a clear policy vision, and a tangible action plan towards achieving the 'Aatmanirbhar' and 'Viksit' Uttar Pradesh goals,” he concluded.
