The department has issued stern advisories to all 4,107 LPG distributors statewide and has set up a 24-hour control room to address complaints.
District authorities have been instructed to stay alert and conduct regular inspections.

There are 12,888 operational petrol stations in the state, and sales figures from March 28 to April 1 have remained consistent with normal levels.
Currently, the state maintains a comfortable stock of 97,000 kilolitres of petrol and 126,000 kilolitres of diesel.
Senior officials assured that all essential steps are being taken to guarantee a seamless supply of petrol, diesel, and LPG in accordance with demand.
They urged the public not to fall prey to rumors and to promptly report any incidents of black marketing or artificial shortages to the authorities.
The state government has made it abundantly clear that any attempts to instigate panic or engage in profiteering through black marketing will be addressed with utmost seriousness.
