The other three ministers—Ram Singh Kaira, Bharat Singh Chaudhary, and Pradeep Batra—are newcomers to the ministerial ranks.
The oath of office was taken at Lok Bhavan at 10 a.m., officiated by Uttarakhand Governor Gurmit Singh.
With the addition of these five ministers, the Uttarakhand cabinet has reached its full capacity of 12 members, as confirmed by officials.
Chief Minister Dhami also took to social media platform X to extend his best wishes to each new minister for their responsibilities in their respective roles.
While congratulating Madan Kaushik, CM Dhami expressed, “Heartfelt congratulations on your oath as a Cabinet Minister. Your extensive political experience and organizational skills will energize the government's developmental efforts.”
In a message to Khajan Dass, the legislator from Rajpur Road in Dehradun, CM Dhami remarked, “Your expertise in public relations and commitment to public welfare will undoubtedly enhance the effectiveness of the government's welfare initiatives.”
The Chief Minister also acknowledged the achievements of the other three ministers, highlighting their contributions to public life.
CM Dhami stated that Bharat Singh Chaudhary, with his profound understanding of the challenges in hilly areas and commitment to public service, will bolster the state’s balanced and inclusive development.
Furthermore, he lauded Pradeep Batra, stating, “Your experience and leadership will significantly amplify the state's development efforts.”
He also welcomed Ram Singh Kaira into the cabinet, expressing confidence that his contributions will provide new momentum to the state’s various development initiatives.
