Despite being a four-time champion in the 2025 season, she encountered difficulties on the back nine, resulting in two bogeys on the 15th and 17th holes, concluding with a score of 2-under 70 on the Par-70 course.
Vani now shares the lead with Shagun Narain, who is pursuing her first victory, and the returning Jahanvi Bakshi, who is recovering from an extended absence due to injury. Each of the trio finished with a score of 2-under 68.
Vani's front nine score of 4-under 30 marked the best performance for that segment of the course, while Jahanvi and Vidhatri topped the back nine scores with 2-under 34.
Shagun Narain maintained a bogey-free round, achieving her two birdies on holes eight and nine.
Jahanvi, whose sibling competes on the Ladies European Tour, parred her first nine holes and then made four birdies between the 10th and 15th holes, including three consecutive birdies from the 13th to 15th. However, she stumbled with a double bogey on the Par-5 17th, finishing at 68.
Four players, including amateur Riya Jadon, ended up with scores of 1-under 69, tying for fourth place. The other players were Jasmine Shekar, Nayanika Sanga, and Shweta Mansingh.
Multiple winner Sneha Singh was tied for eighth with Vidhatri Urs and Kriti Chowhan, all carding even par 70.
Some experienced players like Ridhima Dilawari, Neha Tripathi, and Amandeep Drall faced challenges, with Ridhima and Neha finishing one-over 71, tying for 11th alongside Astha Madan.
Both Amandeep Drall and Khushi Khanijau, who have also participated in the IGPL Tour with male players, finished tied for 14th, each scoring 2-over 74.
