Should Rahul Gandhi Be Found Before Criticizing PM Modi?

Key Takeaways
Bengaluru, Feb 10 (NationPress) In reaction to Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's accusation that Prime Minister Narendra Modi avoided the discussion on the motion of thanks to the President's address in the Lok Sabha, BJP state President and MLA B.Y. Vijayendra asserted that the tendency to evade accountability has its roots in the Congress party.
"First, locate Rahul Gandhi, who seems to be missing, to address the leadership crisis in Karnataka," he ridiculed.
Vijayendra addressed CM Siddaramaiah, stating, "Honourable Siddaramaiah, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji has not evaded any responsibility or disappeared; he was present in Parliament. In the Rajya Sabha, he spoke decisively, exposing your party's conduct and the Opposition's approach. In the Lok Sabha, he highlighted the unparliamentary behavior and mischief of your party members."
"In reality, if there exists a culture of 'evading responsibility,' it traces back to your Congress party. Your own Rahul Gandhi stands as proof. The chaos in Karnataka stems from your governance. Over the past year, there has been incessant infighting over the Chief Minister’s position. Consequently, the administrative machinery has ground to a halt. Rampant corruption and commission rackets have made life unbearable for the populace," he continued.
"The very leader expected to resolve these issues -- your high command leader Rahul Gandhi -- is nowhere to be found. Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar is compelled to travel to Delhi every other day in a desperate search for him. Before anything else, you and the Deputy Chief Minister need to locate Rahul Gandhi. Resolve the impasse regarding the Chief Minister’s position and liberate yourselves from the people's grievances. Otherwise, the people of Karnataka will soon ensure that both you and your Congress party find yourselves without a place to call home," Vijayendra criticized.
In earlier remarks, CM Siddaramaiah stated that the Prime Minister’s failure to respond to the discussion on the motion of thanks to the President’s address in the Lok Sabha not only disrespects Parliament but also demonstrates a cowardly inability to confront the truth.
"For the first time in India’s parliamentary history, the motion of thanks was passed without a Prime Ministerial response. When a Prime Minister disregards Parliament, it signifies evasion of responsibility. The ruling BJP initially silenced the opposition parties and then chose to remain mute. This is a concerning trend. When Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi attempted to raise critical national security issues mentioned by former Army Chief General M.M. Naravane during his speech on the motion of thanks, his address was completely obstructed," CM Siddaramaiah remarked.
