Chennai, Feb 2 (NationPress) The celebration of the third anniversary of the Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) commenced on an exhilarating note at the party’s Panaiyur office. Party President Vijay exuded an energetic and festive atmosphere, signaling both a revival and a firm commitment in light of the forthcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.

This event commemorated three years since the formal establishment of TVK on February 2, 2024, when Vijay declared his political ambitions and introduced the party’s name.

Since that moment, TVK has embarked on a dynamic political journey characterized by swift mobilization, large-scale conventions, and a strategic aim to establish itself as a formidable electoral contender in Tamil Nadu.

The party’s inaugural major convention took place in Vikravandi, located in the Villupuram district, where the enthusiastic public response astonished even the most experienced political analysts.

Building on that success, the party hosted its subsequent significant convention in Madurai, further broadening its grassroots outreach and volunteer network throughout various regions.

Later, Vijay launched his first comprehensive election campaign from Tiruchirappalli, indicating TVK’s preparedness to face the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections with determination.

Nevertheless, the campaign faced a temporary halt due to disturbances associated with the Karur stampede incident, which impacted a TVK public gathering.

Following a brief intermission, the party has now reinstated its political endeavors, with the Panaiyur event symbolizing a fresh start.

During the third anniversary celebration, Vijay received a warm reception at the Panaiyur office from TVK General Secretary N. Anand, senior leader Aadhav Arjuna, and other officials.

As part of the festivities, Vijay paid floral homage to the statues of TVK's ideological and policy-formulating leaders present at the office. He subsequently raised the party flag, reaffirming his dedication to the party’s vision and organizational discipline.

The event’s pinnacle occurred during a folk music performance by the well-known singer Velmurugan. Breaking from formality, Vijay enthusiastically joined in the dancing to the live music, eliciting loud cheers, whistles, and applause from the gathered party officials and volunteers.

This moment, widely perceived as spontaneous and emblematic, showcased a renewed confidence among party members.
