Youth Play a Vital Role in Achieving the 'Viksit Bharat' Vision, States Mansukh Mandaviya

New Delhi, Jan 10 (NationPress) The Department of Youth Affairs, guided by Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya, inaugurated a three-day 'Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue' at Bharat Mandapam in the capital on Friday. The purpose of this event is to offer a distinctive platform for the youth to present their creative solutions for Viksit Bharat.
The Union Minister also took to X to announce the commencement of this initiative, highlighting that it would provide young, bright minds the chance to play a pivotal role in the Viksit Bharat mission.
“Here we go. The much-anticipated Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue has commenced. Bright and talented youth from all over the nation are prepared to share their visionary ideas for a Viksit Bharat with PM Modi,” he wrote on X.
While addressing the media, the Union Minister stated that the involvement of youth is essential in fulfilling the dream of Viksit Bharat.
He met the participants of the 'Viksit Bharat' initiative at Bharat Mandapam and mentioned, "Three thousand talented youth from across the country have gathered here after competing with thirty lakh aspirants to secure their positions. These remarkable young leaders are ready to present their innovative concepts for Viksit Bharat to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"I am excited to have met these young leaders and to see their enthusiasm and commitment to building a Viksit Bharat. I am confident that they will not only convey their ideas to the Prime Minister but also actively participate in realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat," he added.
The three-day Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025 commenced in the capital, featuring an engaging lineup of activities on Friday. The second day of the event will commence with an inaugural session led by Union Minister for Labour and Employment and Youth Affairs, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, alongside Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Khadse, and other esteemed guests from the ministry.
This will be succeeded by a plenary session, which will include notable personalities such as Anand Mahindra, Chairman of the Mahindra Group, and Jonty Rhodes, an international cricketer. Their participation is expected to motivate attendees, fostering meaningful dialogue and engagement.
Participants will have the exceptional opportunity to interact directly with these distinguished figures throughout the event, gaining inspiration and insights for their future contributions to India's development.
The final day of the event, January 12, coincides with the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and will be commemorated as National Youth Day, honoring his lasting legacy in empowering youth. This day will also highlight the most awaited segment of the event.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil a specially curated coffee table book, which compiles the finest essays from ten identified themes. Additionally, the Prime Minister will introduce the Youth Anthem, a compelling composition designed to inspire and unify India’s youth under a collective vision of national advancement and growth.
This event is anticipated to mark a significant milestone in empowering young leaders, equipping them with a platform to contribute constructively to the vision of Viksit Bharat.
