Youths Eager to Engage with PM Modi at Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Forum

New Delhi, Jan 11 (NationPress) The Department of Youth Affairs, headed by Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya, is facilitating the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue at Bharat Mandapam. The attendees are filled with excitement over the upcoming chance to meet the Prime Minister on Sunday.

This three-day event is designed to offer a distinctive platform for the youth to propose innovative ideas aimed at realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat.

The proceedings kicked off on Saturday with an inaugural session led by Union Ministers Mansukh Mandaviya and Raksha Khadse, alongside other esteemed figures from the Ministry.

On January 12, coinciding with National Youth Day, which celebrates Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to unveil a specially designed Coffee Table Book. This book will showcase the finest essays across ten identified themes.

In addition, he will introduce the Youth Anthem, a musical piece aimed at motivating and uniting India's youth under a common vision for national advancement.

In a statement to IANS, Mandaviya remarked, "This year's National Youth Day will take place in the form of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue. Over the last two days, 3,000 young individuals, chosen from across the nation via a competitive process, have been engaging in discussions on various subjects to envision their ideal Bharat."

"The youth are delving into how they can assist in achieving PM Modi's vision of a Viksit Bharat, what their aspirations are, and the kind of Bharat they wish to inhabit in the next 25 years. Their insights will be presented across ten verticals to PM Modi, who will actively listen and participate in the dialogue," he added.

Sahaj Sabharwal, a writer and social media influencer from Jammu and Kashmir, shared, "As the youngest author from J&K at 22, I've published my third book addressing issues like drug abuse and rape. Today, youth involvement in drugs is rising, and I've utilized my writing to spread awareness. This platform enables me to effectively convey my thoughts."

Mudita Saxena, a poet and tour guide hailing from Rajasthan's Shekhawati region, expressed her appreciation for this opportunity, stating, "This platform allows me to promote tourism, culture, and heritage in my area, contributing to Viksit Bharat. However, the lack of development and connectivity in Shekhawati hinders tourism. I urge PM Modi to address these challenges for regional progress."

Harikrishna, a participant from Andhra Pradesh, noted, "This is a fantastic platform for the youth. I am here to learn new insights from participants nationwide and share those learnings with my community."
