New Delhi, Aug 4 (NationPress) A tragic incident unfolded in northwest Delhi’s Jahangirpuri area when a 20-year-old youth lost his life due to a severe gunshot wound. The deceased has been identified as Rohit Brar, a resident of Sardar Colony in Rohini Sector-16. He was rushed to BJRM Hospital by three companions after sustaining the injury near H Block, Jahangirpuri.

According to a statement from the Jahangir Puri police station, "On August 3, 2025, BJRM Hospital alerted the PS Jahangir Puri about a gunshot injury case. The young male, later identified as Rohit Brar (20), R/o Sardar Colony, Rohini, Sector-16, was brought in by his friends Pankaj @ Pankha, Alam, and Akash after a shooting incident near H Block, Jahangirpuri."

The Medico-Legal Case (MLC) report confirmed a gunshot entry wound situated beneath the victim’s left cervical bone. Despite receiving prompt medical intervention, Brar tragically passed away during treatment.

Authorities have indicated that no eyewitnesses to the shooting have been identified thus far. Additionally, the three individuals who transported the victim to the hospital disappeared shortly thereafter and are currently untraceable.
