Key Takeaways
Hyderabad, Feb 25 (NationPress) A young content creator tragically ended her life following an alleged heartbreak with another popular vlogger in Hyderabad. The couple had separated a year prior, and she was said to be grappling with emotional turmoil since then, having reportedly attempted suicide six months earlier.
Komali (21), originally from Visakhapatnam, was found hanging at her uncle’s residence in Chitrapuri colony, Manikonda, according to police reports released on Wednesday.
The situation came to light when Komali’s family filed a complaint with the authorities.
A B.Sc. student at Mallareddy University, Komali was pursuing her passion for making YouTube videos part-time.
She had been in a romantic relationship with Nikhil Reddy, a well-known YouTuber, for three years while also working in a software job. Nikhil, who also hails from Visakhapatnam, ended their relationship due to personal differences.
Following their break-up, Komali experienced severe emotional distress and attempted to take her life six months ago.
Reports indicate that Nikhil had a phone conversation with her two days before the incident, during which they had an argument. Subsequently, she took her own life using a saree when she was alone at home.
Komali gained popularity on social media by sharing videos related to lifestyle, daily vlogs, and personal stories.
Her last video, documenting her pilgrimage to Tirumala, had gone viral as she pursued a personal wish. This became her final post.
In response to the complaint filed by her family, the Raidurgam police have initiated an investigation, questioning family members, Nikhil, and other acquaintances to uncover the circumstances surrounding her tragic decision.
In a separate incident in Hyderabad, a man was fatally stabbed by assailants. This occurred early Wednesday near Bharatnagar flyover under the jurisdiction of Sanathnagar Police Station.
The victim has been identified as Shankar (48), a native of Karnataka, who had been employed at a hotel in Moosapet for the past two years.
Authorities have registered a case and conducted a postmortem examination, with suspicions that the murder was linked to an extramarital affair.
