New Delhi, Feb 24 (NationPress) It has been revealed that the total of countries and global organizations endorsing the New Delhi Declaration on AI Impact has now reached 91, as announced on Tuesday.
The AI Impact Summit 2026, which took place in New Delhi last week, concluded with the formal adoption of the New Delhi Declaration on AI Impact, a landmark achievement in fostering global collaboration on artificial intelligence.
“As of February 21, 2026, a total of 88 nations and international organizations had supported this declaration. Since that date, Bangladesh, Costa Rica, and Guatemala have joined, increasing the signatories to 91 countries and organizations,” stated the Ministry of Electronics and IT.
This Declaration signifies a widespread global agreement on utilizing AI for both economic advancement and social benefits. Following the guiding principle of “Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaya” (Welfare for all, Happiness for all), it emphasizes that the advantages of AI should be distributed fairly among all people.
An official announcement indicated that the Declaration focuses on enhancing international collaboration and multi-stakeholder participation, ensuring respect for national sovereignty, and promoting AI within accessible and reliable frameworks.

“A strong digital infrastructure and effective, affordable connectivity are essential for the deployment of AI and realizing its full capabilities,” it stated.
Embodying the principle of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family), the declaration acknowledges the critical need to improve affordability and access to AI resources, which is vital for all nations to develop, adopt, and implement AI for the benefit of their populations.
